| I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint. Please see below for grading details. I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse. A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers. All records are sent out in plastic covers. DAVIE JONES WITH THE KIND BEES. LIZA JANE / LOUIE, LOUIE GO HOME. ORIGINAL 1964 VOCALION UK 7" SINGLE - V.9221. The very 1st David Bowie record, this for many is the holy grail of the stock issued Bowie records. This is a stock example and not a demo! This as I am sure you will know is a very rare record. A great Mod R&B disc too. You may wait years to see another turn up for sale! This is a decent playing example with nice labels and original cover. G1 / G1 stampers. CPDRF-33317-T1-1C / CPDRF-33318-T1-1C matrix numbers. The Record / VG condition. The disc plays very well, under halogen bulb the record has a fair amount of light surface marks but no deep marks. The record still has its original gloss. For such a rare disc this is in decent shape. Graded visually as VG with a play grade of at least VG+. Please see my feedback. This is what it is and you may never get the chance to get another as this is seriously rare. The Labels / EX- condition. Both labels are in very nice shape with some light age wear only. The Cover/ Good+ condition. The original Vocalion cover is in strong shape with some creasing marks and some age wear. The cover is 100% original and not a reproduction. The disc is now housed a a new polylined cover as seen in the pictures. ................................................................................. I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW. Mint - as new and in perfect condition. Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too. Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear. The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect! Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc. Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear. Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this. Thanks for looking. |
