VINTAGE RARE NEW/OLD STOCK PAUL WELLER HEAVY SOUL PROMO T-SHIRT, MINT CONDITION
Paul Weller, founding member of the punk rock new wave, mod revival band The Jam. After that he found success with the blue-eyed soul music of The Style Council and then in 1991 he went on to have a successful solo career. He is the principal figure of the 1970s and 1980s mod revival and is often referred to as the Modfather.
This is a promotional T-shirt supporting his Heavy Soul CD in 1997. Heavy Soul sold enough in it’s first week to be number one. Steve White is on drums Marco Nelson on base with Brendan Lynch and Jools Holland providing keyboards and Wurlitzer piano. I formally worked for his record company and recently found this in a box in my office. It is in mint condition and the colors are as bright as the day it was printed.
