Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.
OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.
Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +21,000 positive feedback.
We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.
We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.
Thank you for your interest and support.

  4. David Bowie's Man Who Sold The World was virtually ignored by the USA record buying public upon release in 1970; 55 years later this British "drag" cover is his most in-demand LP's, along with the UK orig "Man Of Words/Music" - yet this famous original with Bowie in a dress remains at the top! (see photos)

  7. CLEAN grainy delicate British cover solid record (see full details below) of the mighty Bowie classic LP in his heavy-rock phase....A completely different cover design to the awful USA issue ...oh by jingo!

  8. David Bowie: vocals, guitar
    Mick Ronson: guitar
    Tony Visconti: bass
    Mick Woodmansey: drums

Fast forward a year after the release of "Space Oddity". David Bowie drops the folk-rock style for the time being to bring us one of the best albums he has ever released. The album "The Man Who Sold The World" is a hard hitting, dark and sadistic whirlwind of rock that isn't to be missed by any Bowie or rock aficionado. Released in 1970, this album is only hard heavy rock albums released by the universal artist.

    The Width Of A Circle
Starts the album with rocking, yet soft guitar riffs to be met with louder hard rock riffs and those wonderful Bowie vocals. As with most tracks from this album provides
cryptic, sadistic lyrics that are full of delightful symbolism. Longest track on the LP (8:05) provides a rock opera feel as the song changes throughout the course. Overall a great opening to the then new heavy-rock side of Bowie.

    All The Madmen
This song flows right from the first track. Starting with a slow, melodic yet haunting intro, entering with delightful Bowie pan flute. Breaking from the slow intro it suddenly smashes right onto a dark hard rocking riff about insanity. Reminds much like Black Sabbath but more heartfelt. Best part of this song is the insane middle section with over-tracked political dialogue.
  9. A true rock and roll gem.

    Black Country Rock
A favorite song off this album consisting of one verse and one chorus repeated. Has everything you could want from a rock effort. Awesome drumming by Mick Woodmansey, and kick-ass guitar by Mick Ronson. It all starts off with a funny little clean guitar intro, then blasts into one of the most catchy Bowie songs ever? Bowie sings with all of his heart, as you can tell.

    After All
Creepiest song on this LP. A very haunting song about god knows what, almost sounds like a cult song. Children chanting "Oh By Jingo". Very interesting song, and oddly enough, feels very belonging to this album.

    Running Gun Blues

    Bowie gone mad
! This song is about Vietnam, a message still holding up today. Overall very rocking, penned about the guilt of killing a man on the battle field.
  10. The chorus:
I slash them cold, I kill them dead
I broke the gooks, I cracked their heads
I'll bomb them out from under the beds
But now I've got the running gun blues

    Saviour Machine
Bowie's most political song on the album, like he's ranting about the government manipulating our minds. Sounds about right for an early 70's or 2024 rock song. Has some nice guitar soloing and some interesting synth effects.

    She Shook Me Cold

The most violent tune from this LP. This track is about the nightlife; discovering of the sex scene and a lot like early Black Sabbath. Its dirty, raw and very powerful. Again as throughout, the Ronson guitar is attention getting.

The Man Who Sold The World
In 1970, the tune wasn't as popular as it is today. Having to do with burning out/selling out to "The Man". A 60's message that lives on strong today. Maybe one of the most well written songs by David Bowie. The Music is catchy, the chorus is known by many. The intro is probably one of the most recognizable intro's to rock fans.

    The Supermen
A great closer to an amazing album. A hard rocking track about the giants and gods and humans holding power. Strong is the drumming (sounding like a tribe march). Great guitar yet again, very nice solo.
