Otis Redding Volt/Jotis Records Promotional Poster (Phil Walden Artists & Promotions,1965). Very Rare. Astonishing jumbo window card printed in neon orange and green on card stock. The poster shows a portrait shot of Redding announcing "ATTENTION DEE-JAYS! OTIS REDDING Latest Smash Hit On Volt Records "RESPECT" and promotes two other artists: "Otis Redding's Big O Productions present BILLY YOUNG "Same Thing All Over", Jotis Records" and "ARTHUR CONLEY "I'm A Stranger", Jotis Records". Printed by "Globe Poster - Baltimore". Measures 22" x 30.5". In Very Good condition, with nicks an dings to edges, one .25" tear right edge to inside, significant toning to white areas of the poster. "Respect" was released on Stax Records' sister label, Volt, and reached number four on the R&B chart and number thirty-five on the Pop chart in 1965. Jotis Records was a record label that Redding founded with his business partner Joe Galkin; the name formed from combining their first names. Redding was so successful during this period that in 1966 he bought a three hundred acre ranch in Georgia which he named the "Big O Ranch". HID04901242017

drawn on a U.S. bank are subject to a ten business day hold, and thirty days when drawn on an
international bank. Clients with pre-arranged credit status may receive immediate credit for
payments via eCheck, personal or corporate checks. All others will be subject to a hold of 5

Shipping:
The buyer is responsible for paying all shipping costs and arranging for shipping and delivery with the seller.
