An original handbill and booking form for the ‘Brian Epstein Presents Pops Alive’ concert held on 31st May 1964 at the Prince Of Wales Theatre, London.
It measures 8½" x 5½"
It is from the estate of a recently departed family friend and performer of those times that collected a lot of memorabilia himself, as when he wasn't playing he was going to others gigs.
It's in nice condition, has been stored away for the last 50 years and only some slight wear to the edges and faint mottling to the rear of the handbill in the lower right quadrant.
Other than that the whites are still very white and the two tone purple and yellow typical of the printing in the 1960s have not faded at all. A very vivid and striking handbill.
As a side note this was the first gig it's believed that Ringo used the Ludwig drum kit. Having always used a Premier kit up to that point.
Will be sent special delivery.
