UPDATE: I've had a few enquiries re authenticity as am selling at much lower price than others on eBay - so I've added photos to show the actual catalogue number HGCD633 which is embedded on CD along with proof it was mastered at Hilton Grove. Hope this helps! Any other questions please let me know.

Final time listing on eBay, final chance to buy. MUCH cheaper than other available but am bored relisting so will keep if no sale.

This is a VERY rare copy and only 1 of 500 copies were ever made. With original sticker on sleeve highlighting the bands manager!

Both CD and inlay card are in good condition.

CD Jewel case has light surface marks And a catch missing which do not at all affect the quality or performance of the CD.

HISTORY

COLDPLAY was a name originally conceived by a friend, taken from a book of poetry. Prior to this they were in a boy band called "Pectoralz," and played their first gig under the guise of "Starfish" at Camden Laurel Tree. Then Phil Harvey who was an old school friend of Chris became their manager, and he personally financed Coldplay's first recording and release of the Safety EP as a 500-copies limited CD.

CD case has an original sticker saying ' Phil Harvey's Band'

The Safety EP was initially intended as a demo for the record companies. At a cost of around £200, three songs were recorded over a weekend in Sync City Studios: Bigger Stronger, No More Keeping My Feet On The Ground & Such A Rush. They then manufactured and distributed around London. However, most of these copies were given away & By the time any shops were prepared to stock the record, there were only 50 copies left.

Then the CD was heard by the organizors of the Unsigned Bands' Festival for the In the City festival in Manchester. This in turn led to interest from Parlophone records just after NME journalist Simon Williams offered them a one single deal for Brothers and Sisters on his Fierce Panda label.

They then signed to Parlophone and the rest, as they say, is history....

Track Listing as follows:-

Bigger, Stronger

No More Keeping My Feet On The Ground

Such A Rush

I will pack this to a high level to ensure it gets to you safely.

***Because of the rarity of the CD the figures for shipment are without insurance. With insurance will have to be negotiated between myself and the buyer.***

Thank you
