on 11-6-1945 to a military family. JAMES was a folk singer after getting a BA -Radio Arts from the Univ. of CA and founding member of the Weavers folk group. JAMES relocated to Northbrook, IL., a northwest area suburb of Chicago, IL. I was a recording engineer on several of JAMES' projects. JAMES suffered from a tragic accident at dinner one evening by aspirating on food and emergency medical personnel could not help him in time to prevent brain damage from lack of oxygen. HE died a week later on 4-1-2016. JAMES was a gentle soul and good friend. I trust someone will come forward and preserve these tapes for posterity

(future generations) and keep JAMES' memory alive. I recorded this concert on 1-25-1981 at the Solar Institute of Yoga & Health, Chicago, IL., using a Sony 854-4 track/channel recorder and a TEAC AN-300 Dolby "B" Noice

Reduction Unit and Maxell Premium Tape, recorded 4 track @ 15 IPS and 1/2 track @ 15 IPS, tails out using a Technic 1520-1/2 track recorder. Not everyone can play these tapes. Shipped USPS Media Mail.
