My stepson's late father was the station manager of an oldies FM radio station in Ventura, California in the late 1970's and early 1980's. Before that, he was the station manager of the UCSB radio station. He acquired a huge collection of mostly 1960's and 1970's vinyl records, which he played on the radio, after transferring the record contents to tape. The majority of the records were thereby mostly played only a few times. The collection consists of 35 boxes of 100 LP records (3,500 LP records) plus dozens that are not in boxes, plus more than 3,500 45's, perhaps many more. Many of the 45's and some of the LP's are recording company samples. So, the total is a minimum of 7,000 records. Also included are many or most of the recorded tapes and a top-of-the line Teak 7010 tape deck in what looks to be in excellent condition with manuals, spare parts, cables, blank tapes, and reels. The majority of the records are in excellent condition, many are in good condition, and some are in fair condition. The records have not been cherry-picked for the most rare or valuable items. The boxes are more-or-less organized alphabetically by artist names.

The record collection is stored in a low humidity and cool storage environment in Victor, Idaho.

The boxes that contain 100 LP records each have dimension 13"x13"x16.5" and weigh about forty pounds each. So, the volume of LP records boxes is approximately 56 cubic feet. The volume of the random boxes containing the 45's and Tapes is smaller, perhaps 15 cubic feet. You will need a decent size van or truck to haul all this.

I will add more photos to this listing since the present photos do not show everything.
