Available is this hard to find brass ticket for a Parterre Box at the NEW Lincoln Center. The ticket is for Dec 16, 1966 - the date the new theater opened. The piece reads " Met Metropolitan Opera 8 PM Friday Eve 16 September 1966 Opening Night of the New Opera House 29 Box 1 Seat Parterre Box". An estate sale find - history is otherwise unknown.
The piece measures 2.75 inches tall by 1.5 inches wide. It looks to have been used as a key chain and does show wear and use. There is scuffing and scratching to the patina. Please review photos for a detailed view of condition.
